Resident Evil 3

Story:

It all began on an ordinary day in September in Raccoon City, a city controlled by the unethical Umbrella Corporation. No one dared to oppose Umbrella, and that lack of strength would ultimately lead to the city's destruction. A month and a half has passed since the last incident. People are starting to forget about the chaos that happened in the mansion as their lives return to normal. People could not believe the survivor's reports of the bizzare incident that occured in the Arklay Mountains. Humans and animals turning into horrific monsters? It just was too hard to believe! Stories and incredible experiences and of stranger biological weapons and zombies were beyond their imaginations. The surviving S.T.A.R.S. members headed to the Umbrella branch in Europe even before the town heard the full details of what had happened. They hoped it was all over. But then it happened again. Suddenly, a series of unexplainable murders occured and the T-Virus has spread throughout the city once again! A new supper Biological weapon, Nemesis, is programmed to hunt down all remaining S.T.A.R.S members and will not rest until his mission is complete! It seems that Raccoon City is done for this time!

Characters:
Jill Valentine - Jill returns from the original Resident Evil. She has resigned from S.T.A.R.S. and wants to put the mansion incident behind her. She was just about to leave Raccoon City when the T-Virus hit. Jill is determined to escape once again only this time she must do it in Raccoon City!
Carlos Olivira - Carlos is a member of the Umbrella Countermeasure Force that was brought in when the T-Virus was spread throughout Raccoon City. He meets Jill who is now infected by the T-Virus. Carlos goes through hell to search for the antidote to save Jill while meeting up with Nemesis several times. Carlos soon discovers that Nemesis isn't the only enemy he has to worry about!
Nikolai Zinoviev - Nikolai is leader of the Umbrella Countermeasure Force. He is a very suspicious and impatient man. During the game you will find out that he has his own agenda and only working to benefit himself!
Mikhail Victor - Mikhail is another member of the Umbrella Countermeasure Force sent in to try to contain the Zombies in the city. Mikhail is a very tough soldier and proves it when he has a face to face meeting with Nemesis and dies in the train.
Brad Vickers - Brad is known as "Chickenheart" by his other comrades. He is the helicopter pilot for the Alpha team. Towards the beginning of the game, he has a deadly confrontation with nemesis who kills him incoherently.
Dario Rosso - This is the guy Jill meets in the beginning of the game. He is a salesman who has lost his daughter in the chaos. He locks himself inside the back of a truck thinking he is safe from harm. If you come back to him later on in the game, you will find that Zombies have eaten him alive!
Barry Burton - Barry returns for a short part at the end of the game. If you follow a certain path throughout the game, Barry rescues Jill by helicopter. He is trying to make up for his mistakes he made during Resident Evil 1 when he betrayed the S.T.A.R.S members and was working with Wesker.

Weapons:

Knife - The knife in Resident Evil 3 is like the knife in any other RE game, useless! You probably would be better off running from monsters than using the knife. Keep it where it belongs, in the item box! In the mercenaries mode as Nicholai, you have to fight with the knife which should be interesting I would say!
Handgun M92F Standard - This is the standard weapon used by Jill in the game. It was specially made for the S.T.A.R.S members. Like any handgun in RE games, the best use is to go against zombies.
STI Eagle 6.0 - This is probably the best handgun in Resident Evil 3. It fires faster and the reloading time is much quicker also! The bad thing is that you cannot use the special ammo with it. If you beat Nemesis the first time in front of the RPD building in hard mode, you will get the first parts of the Eagle. When you defeat him the second time, you will receive the second parts. When you have both parts, combine them together and you have one hell of a weapon!
SIGPRO SP 2900 - This is the standard weapon used by Carlos. It is very light as it is made of plastic. In the mercenaries mode if you reach the second hostage, you will get the explosive ammo for it!
M37 Western - This is more effective than the standard shotgun. It is faster reloading and shooting. What sucks is you can't use the custom shotgun with the explosive shells.
Benelli M3S Shotgun - This weapon comes in handy to fight zombies, especially if they are very close to you. Even the early stages of Nemesis can be defeated with the shotgun! Mix gun powder B 8 times and you will be able to choose from regular shotgun shells or explosive ones.
Hk-p Grenade Launcher - Although it is rather hard to handle, the grenade launcher is a very powerful piece of weaponry! There are 4 different types of grenades; standard, acid, flame and nitrogen. A disadvantage of this weapon is that sometimes you will miss your enemy with grenades. You'll find the grenade launcher in the S.T.A.R.S Office.
S & W M629C - This is the same Colt found in the first part of RE. A Very strong piece of weaponry. Hunters will go down quickly with this weapon! The sad thing is there is not much ammo to go around. This gun is located in the power station.
Mine Thrower - Even though there are better weapons in the game, this one isn't too bad! The mine thrower was built by Umbrella. It throws mines onto your enemies, which will take a few seconds to explode. You will find it in the main hall of the Clock Tower only in Hard Mode.
M16 - This MG is mainly used by the U.B.C.S.-members. Very useful against bigger enemies, but useless against Nemesis. In Easy Monde at the beginning of the game, Jill has this weapon. If you play with Carlos, you can use this weapon as well! You can buy this weapon with unlimited ammo in the mercenaries game.
Gatling Gun - This weapon is good to kill almost anything, even Nemesis! You can buy this weapon with unlimited ammo in the Mercenaries Game. Thats if you have enough cash!
M66 Rocket Launcher - The ultimate weapon in any Resident Evil game! Absolutly the strongest! You will find it in the end of the game or you have the chance to buy it in the mercenaries game, therefore you can use it throughout the entire game with unlimited ammo.

Enemies

Zombie - The Flesh Eaters return once again! In Resident Evil 3 they have the ability to move a lot quicker. Watch out for their bite and vomit. Pay close attention to the ones that lay on the ground. They may look as if they are dead, but they really are not. As you come close to them, they will quickly grab your leg and bite you! If you get caught in the middle of a group of Zombies, equip your shotgun and aim towards the right as this will take off their heads!
Cerberus - The Cerberus' are still very fast canines! They will not hesitate to jump on you. You will have a hell of a time killing these things if you get caught with 3 or more of them. Shoot them with the Handgun from a distance and that should do the trick!
Crow - These wicked birds just will not give up! As always, it is better to run than to fight them. Do not stand still as you will fall victim to severe pecking of your head!
Drain Deimo - These things replace the lickers from Resident Evil 2. They are very nasty looking creatures. They love to get up on their hind legs and leap all over the place. Don't let them get near you as they will suck the brains right out of you! A shotgun will do the the job on these monsters.
Brain Sucker - These are closely related to the Drain Deimos. Slightly more powerful, they are able to spit poisonous acid at you. Keeping a distance and using something more powerful than the Handgun should take these things out in no time!
Spider - The spiders are back again also! You can try to kill them, but if there are many in one spot, I would just run around them to save on ammo. Be careful as they tend to climb walls and hang on ceilings. I hope you have a blue herb handy if they happen to bite you. When you kill these things little spiders run everywhere! Either run yourself or exit the room then re enter again; they will be gone.
Sliding Worms - These things are more annoying then a big threat. Just shoot them with the Handgun or run away. Don’t let them get on you or they will suck you dry!
Hunter 121 Beta - The Hunter finally returns, but they are in a different form. Don't you worry though, they are still capable of slashing your head off! They are still very fast and will jump at you. Either the shotgun or magnum will need to be used to kill this creature!
Hunter 124 Gamma - Another form of the hunter. This form takes the appearance of a frog. Use caution, if your health is too low, they can swallow you whole! Again, use the magnum or shotgun to defeat these creatures!
Grave Digger - This is a giant worm that lives underground. You meet it the first time being able to run from it. The second time will not be the case! It will take some time to kill as it comes up and down from out of the ground several times.
Nemesis - A prototype Tyrant developed for the sole purpose of destroying all remaining S.T.A.R.S. members. You will discover this as you encounter him many times throughout the game. He is very big, fast, and will do anything to destroy you! He goes through 4 mutations getting stronger each time. The biggest weapon you have is a must!
