Story:
Top-secret biotechnic experiments
have been goin on for many years inside a secluded mansion and its grounds. The research staff has been funded by an unethical
corporation by the name of Umbrella. The weekly laboratory reports have been increasingly vague and now they have stopped
completely. Recent attacks near the mansion have lead to rumors of unnatural canines on the prowl. Something terrible is going
on! Two S.T.A.R.S. teams (Special Tactics and Rescue Squad) are sent in to investigate these strange happenings. Bravo Team
makes their way in first and disappears almost immediately. Alpha Team follows, urgently driven towards the mansion. As either
Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine, who are very valuable for the Alpha team, you work your way inside. Everything is quiet!
What horror awaits this team?
Characters:
 |
Albert Wesker - He has risen quickly inside the
S.T.A.R.S. Organization and currently leads the Alpha Team. Viewed by many as a "cool guy", from his snappy haircut to his
perpetual shades, Wesker was recruited by a headhunter for his sharp insight and eventually founded the S.T.A.R.S. unit in
Raccoon City. Once everyone splits up in the mansion, Wesker is not seen much, but you get to see more of him towards the
end of the game. |
 |
Chris Redfield - After being kicked out of the Air
Force, Chris became a drifter until he met Barry Burton. Barry recruited him for the newly formed S.T.A.R.S. Unit. Now Chris
has been reassigned to Raccoon City headquarters to prove his skills. He is a tough guy who has strong mental skills and great
vitality. Chris has a great advantage with weapons when surrounded by many enemies. |
 |
Jill Valentine - One of the most intelligent S.T.A.R.S.
member. Jill has been reassigned to Raccoon City just like Chris. She is excellent at using special mechanical devices like
lockpicks, thus dubbed by Barry as "the Master of Unlocking". Jill has strong moral convictions and fights for what she believes
in. The advantage to using Jill is that she can hold more items. However, her lesser vitality puts her at a disadvantage. |
 |
Barry Burton - Chris Redfield's old friend and partner.
Barry, a former SWAT team member, supplies weapons for all S.T.A.R.S. members. With over 16 years of experience, he has lead
many projects to success. Barry always seems to show up at just the right times to save Jill's butt during the game. |
 |
Rebecca Chambers - Rebecca, the youngest member
of the group, has been recruited for her knowledge of field medicine and first aid. She is nervous around the other members,
because of her age (18) and her lack of experience. Nonetheless, Rebecca is eager to do her duty and perform any task without
hesitation! |
 |
Joseph Frost - Previous member of S.T.A.R.S. Bravo
Team, and already stationed in Raccoon City, Joseph was recently promoted to serve as vehicle specialist for Alpha Team. Joseph
is young, enthusiastic and very curious. Joseph is lost in the field outside the mansion as he is attacked by an infected
canine and killed. |
 |
Brad Vickers - Brad is a computer genious who excels
in information gathering. Unfortunately, his fear of dying and lack of enthusiasm for rushing into danger has earned him the
nickname "Chicken Heart". However, he somewhat makes up for his lack of courage at the end of the game. |
 |
Richard Aiken - A very important member of S.T.A.R.S.
serving as Bravo's communications expert. The only link back to headquarters for teams out in the field, Richard actually
has to pull double duty as radioman for both units since Alpha Team really has no communications expert. Richard is the one
found after the giant snake "Yawn" had him for it's dinner! |
 |
Kenneth J. Sullivan - A quiet, but very
talented field scouting officer, and an expert in chemistry. He wonders why his chemical experience would be necessary in
Raccoon City but quickly discounts his hesitancy since Wesker himself sought him for enlisting in S.T.A.R.S. Kenneth is the
first member of either team to...let's say.... "lose his head"! |
 |
Forest Speyer - In addition to his duties as Bravo's
vehicle specialist, Forest is also en excellent sniper. He is a consummate professional, and his work earns him great respect
from the other members. During the game, Forest gets pecked to death by the rabid crows and becomes a zombie later on in the
game. |
 |
Enrico Marini - Bravo Team's leader,
and Wesker's second in command for the S.T.A.R.S. unit. Enrico feels threatened by the arrival of the Alpha Team, thinking
that Chris or Barry may end up replacing him as #1 to Wesker. Nonetheless, Enrico is a dedicated S.T.A.R.S. member and is
always ready to lead the unit when needed |
 |
Edward Dewey - Edward is the helicopter pilot for
Bravo Team. |
|
Weapons:
 |
Knife - This is the standard weapon
in every Resident Evil game. At least in my opinion, absolutely useless in RE1. But, it does come in handy when you run out
of ammunition. |
 |
Beretta - Another standard weapon used by the whole
S.T.A.R.S. team. Speaking from experience, it sure in the hell comes in more use than the knife does! This weapon is usually
used most often to go against zombies and Cerberus'. |
 |
Shotgun - Now we're getting in the more Powerfull
weapons! This is very effective against bigger enemies such as Hunters or Spiders. The sad thing is the ammu for it is very
scarce. Use it wisely my friend! |
 |
Desert Eagle - My favorite weapon of them all and
most likely the favorite of all RE fans! Kills almost any enemy with only one shot. Take my advice though, try to save the
ammo for the boss fights. |
 |
Flamethrower - It may seem to many people that the
Flamethrower would be a very effective and powerful weapon. However, the fuel runs out quickly, and inflicts little damage
on your enemies. Not a good weapon to go against bigger enemies! |
 |
Bazooka - Can be equipped with several kinds of
grenades, such as acid, fire, and of course, normal grenades. Use it wisely and figure out which grenades are most effective
on which enemy. |
 |
Rocket Launcher - Sadly, you can only use it in
the final fight. One rocket destroys everything. It takes some time until you have it equipped though, which can be very annoying! |
Enemies
 |
Zombie - This is the result from injecting
the T-Virus into human beings. These creatures crave fresh meat! You really don't have to worry about Zombies because they
are very slow, but watch out when they get in groups of 4 or 5. |
 |
Cerberus - Look at what the T-Virus
did to these poor poochies! The Cerberus is very quick and when you get them in groups of 4 or more, you are in trouble! The
good thing is they can be killed with just you handgun. Watch your back! |
 |
Hunter - The name "Hunter" says it all!
These beasts will hunt you down throughout the whole game until they get a piece of you! These frog like creatures are very
quick and have the love of cutting heads off with their sharp claws. |
 |
Killer Bee - The T-Virus enlarges a
small bee into a mutated Killer Bee with dangerous poison. Trying to shoot them down is worthless! Basicly....JUST RUN!!! |
 |
Crow - Our good buddies! The crows.
One of the most common enemy in the RE series. Don't waste your ammunition by trying to shoot them down. You will just be
wasting your time. The ammo will come in handy towards the end of the game! |
 |
Chimera - These quick beasts are very
dangerous! They hang on the ceilings in several different rooms and jump down on you if you are slow. A more powerful weapon
will come in handy for this creature! |
 |
Yawn - Watch out for this largely mutated
snake! It will take a little time to kill. At least have your shotgun handy when you come accross this guy! |
 |
Neptune - Mutated sharks that broke
off the tank located below the guardhouse rooms. Watch out! If they get a hold of you, you're shark bait for sure! |
 |
Adders - These mutated snakes in Resident
Evil are harmless. You can easily avoid a fight with them by just running away. Do not waste any ammo at all! |
 |
Black Tiger - A very poisonous spider
thanks to the T-Virus. Compared to the other spiders throughout the game, these are a lot harder to kill so be careful!. |
 |
Plant 42 - This is a nicely, formed,
mutated plant that got out of control in the guardhouse. It's roots are located deep down where it gets water to keep on growing.
You will have to obtain a special chemical to kill it. |
 |
Tyrant - The Tyrant is the ultimate
bio weapon which was formed from a human being. It can break through every kind of door or wall. A powerful weapon must definatly
be used to kill this beast! Oh yea.... watch out for his fist! | |
