Resident Evil 0

Story

The time is July 1998, exactly one day before the horrific events that unfolded in Resident Evil, following a bizarre incident of murders in the Arklay Mountains located outside of Raccoon City. The Raccoon City Police Department dispatched six members of the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Squad) Bravo Team, including Rebecca, the medical expert of the team on her first mission, to investigate. Heading for their helicopter, they spot a mysterious train that seems to be stopped in the middle of the woods. To everyone's surpirse, the engine in the chopper stalls. As the chopper begins to fall, the team sees a burning wagon in the distance. After the crash, the team splits up into two groups to investigate. One team to the wagon and the other, including Rebecca, to the train. The horror is only beginning! Rebecca meets up with an escaped convict named Billy Coen. She puts her duty aside and teams up with Billy to fight to survive!

Characters

Rebecca Chambers - Rebecca is a medic on the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team who is the youngest of all S.T.A.R.S members (18 years of age). Her training in medicine makes her a valuable asset to the team, but her lack of size and strength can sometimes be a downfall, especially when cornered by several zombies. However, she follows orders and is very enthusiastic in her work. !

Billy Coen - Billy is a former second lieutenant for the marines who receives capital punishment for the mass murder of 23 people. The paddy wagon that is transporting him to the prison is attacked. Chaos breaks out and taking advantage of the moment, Billy escapes to the train. This is where he meets up with Rebecca and the two team up to try and survive the nightmare together.

Albert Wesker - Wesker, commander of Alpha Team and one of the lead researchers on the T-virus alongside William Birkin. He makes his third appearance in a Resident Evil game. In Resident Evil Zero some light should be shed on the details of how he lured the S.T.A.R.S. members into his "experiment".
Dr. William Birkin - One of the lead researchers of the T-Virus for the Umbrella Corporation along with Wesker. He is also the sole creator of the G-virus. William Birkin makes his second  appearance in a Resident Evil installment. He will do anything to protect his work, including murder.
Dr. James Marcus - One of the lead researchers at Umbrella and one of William Birkin's mentors. His research led to the creation of the Progenitor virus, which is what infects Leon in Resident Evil 4. Marcus was assassinated by Umbrella and years later comes back to life due to the effects of his own research.
Dr. James Marcus (after infection) - One of the lead researchers at Umbrella now with super human strengths caused by his own research. He now seeks out revenge on Umbrella Inc. and wont let anyone stand in his way!
Enrico Marini - Bravo Team's leader, and Wesker's second in command for the S.T.A.R.S. unit. Enrico feels threatened by the arrival of the Alpha Team, thinking that Chris or Barry may end up replacing him as #1 to Wesker. Nonetheless.
Forest Speyer - In addition to his duties as Bravo's vehicle specialist. He is a consummate professional, and his work earns him a good job and good teammates.
Kenneth J. Sullivan - A quiet but very talented field scouting officer, and an expert in chemistry. He wonders why his chemical experience would be necessary in Raccoon City, but quickly discounts his hesitancy since Wesker himself sought him for enlisting in S.T.A.R.S.
Richard Aiken - A very important member of S.T.A.R.S. serving as Bravo's communications expert. . Richard actually has to pull double duty as radioman for both units since Alpha Team really has no dedicated communications expert.
Edward Dewey - Helicopter pilot for Bravo Team. He's a bit of a heavyweight on the action side of things. He gets killed later on in the game and returns as a zombie.

Weapons

Knife - This is the standard weapon in every Resident Evil game. Again the survival knife makes an appearance. Tere are no item boxes you can put it in. It does come in handy when you run out of ammunition.
Molotov Cocktail - The only true novelty thus far, as far as weapons are concerned. Throw this at your enemies and watch them burn!
Billy's Handgun - The standard Handgun used by Billy. Resembles the Custom S.T.A.R.S Handgun Rebecca uses in the game.Usually best used against zombies and the Cerberus.
S.T.A.R.S. Custom HandgunThe standard S.T.A.R.S. handugn, just as it is found in most other RE games. Comes in good use against the standard enemies like zombies and the Cerberus. Will not help you much against the bosses such as the Tyrant!
Magnum - The powerful magnum gun. Probably the most useful gun in the game. Looks to be like a .45 or a .50 caliber.
Hunting Rifle - Very similar to the shotgun.  Better used for bigger enemies such as Hunters and Eliminators.
Shotgun -  The shotgun makes its return! Particularly useful when surrounded by several enemies at a time.
Grenade Launcher - A very powerfull weapon in Resident Evil, uses grenade rounds like most other Resident Evil's. Use it against bosses and such like.

Rocket Launcher - The most powerful weapon in any Resident Evil Game! Usually kills almost instantly, use in boss battles at the end of the game.

Enemies

Zombie - Whats an RE Game without zombies!? They look better than ever! This is the result from injecting the T-Virus into human beings. A good thing for you is that they are very slow and should not give you too many problems, but do watch out when they get together in groups!
Sasori Scorpion - The Sasori Scorpion is one of the boss monsters which uses it's huge claws to attack you! This mutated animal is about 3 meters high and armored heavily. You should use a more powerful weapon to go against this creature!
Cerberus - The T-Virus mixed with a canine does not mix very well. It results in a "zombie dog" called a Cerberus! Fortunetly, you should be able to use just your handgun to kill these things, but be ready for a longer fight if you get attacked in swarms.
Hunter - The hunter is best described by it's name. You can run, but you can't hide! These demons will hunt you down throughout the whole game. They are based on Frog DNA and are very quick so be careful! Take this as a warning...they would have no problem at all cutting your head off!
Crow - Our good buddies! The crows. Probably the most common enemy in Resident Evil other than the zombie. Don't waste your ammunition by trying to shoot them down. When you encounter the crows, don't stand around....RUN!!! Unless you want your head pecked off!
Hil - Leeches, mutated due to the T-Virus attack. You don't want these things sucking your blood! Remember, they don't forget to put their eggs into your body during the process.
Plague Crawler - A mutated insect thanks to the T-Virus. This advanced version now has 2 meters of length. Be alert because the speciality of this insect is to quickly attack someone without giving the victim a chance to avoid it.
Centurion - With its long tail and fang this guy definitely is one of the harder ones in the game! Having 10 meters of length plus sharp claws, you will not want to invite this guy over for a cup of coffee anytime soon.
Webspinner - Watch out for these things! They are largely mutated and very poisonious spiders. Have a couple extra blue herbs with you just incase you get poisoned by these deadly creatures. On a bright note, they can be killed easily with a shotgun or on the other hand, just get the hell out of there!
Leech Zombie - Be Careful with these leech like zombies. They have a large arm which can reach out and grab you from a far distance! Stay far away from them as you can while shooting them from a safe distance away!
Bat - These guys are encountered at the Church. They're just like the crows; annoying and not worth your ammo. However, when the giant bat comes along, thats a whole different story! You will need a more powerful weapon such as the grenade launcher to defeat that thing!
Eliminator - What next!? These mutated monkeys leap off walls and grab a hold of your back for a snack! Take them out with a shotgun or get the hell out of their way. They are noted for cornering you in small packs, so watch your back!
Lurker - A nasty, poisonous, giant toad! They tend to leap out of the water when you least expect it and grab you with their tongue. If this happens, your pretty much screwed as they will drag you into their mouths and start to chew.
Tyrant - Bigger, badder and more decaying than ever before! I hope you took my advice and saved some of your more powerful ammo. It sure will come in handy right about now! Do your best at dodging it's attacks before it strikes and shooting it while it is down.
Queen Leech - Queen Leech is the final boss you will have to defeat. Its mutated, bloated mess form will chase you up the elevator shaft and will start charging at you. After a bit of a chase, you notice that it is "allergic" to light. Rebecca handles the wheel- cranks to raise the helicopter pad up into the sunlight. Keep the beast back by shooting it with anything and everything you have! If you run out of ammo, just keep it away from Rebecca by running into it. As each crank is in a corner, make sure Rebecca can use the stairs that go over the corner and out the other side. If you get all four wheel-cranks done, the beast is exposed to light and it's the end for this monster!
